Catchin’ Up With…. David Choe

“Fearing a
terrorist backlash against my culturally and politically superior homebase of
san jose, i’ve chosen it much wiser to hide out down south in the the much safer
streets of lost angeles till all this war bullshit blows over. it seems funny
and wierd to talk about art in times like these. but i’m funny and wierd so it
makes sense. I’m in L.A. till mid april. i will be destroying public property
and wandering aimlessly in the streets as usual so meet me at the steakhouse.

opened up a giant robot store last year in west L.A. and was so succesful he’s
opening up another one that’s more of a gallery right down the street,enter GR2
Eric was nice enough to ask me to do the first show there next month on April
12th so I’m getting ready for that, get ready to get krunked up, oh yeah and he
was also cool enough to release a book of all my fucked up drawings and
writings called CURSIV i don’t know how many he’s printing but it will debut at
this show so be there if you want one. so mark your calendars it’s about three
weeks away April 12th 2062 Sawtelle in west L.A. probably around 7 to late, i’ll

a week before all this mayhem ensues. somewhere else in california,  L.A. artist
extrodinaire Jeff Soto has curated a
MASSIVE MASSIVE group show that has a million talented artists in it, but jeff
is the best one, and he knows it too. after dealing with that many artsy fucks i
don’t think jeff is ever gonna curate anything like this again. you have to go
to this . if you like art and you like robots. it will be at the "http://www.culturecache.com/">culture cache gallery in S.F. on april 5th
