Essential Viewing:  Bel Borba Aqui

Bel Borba Aqui film Trailer 2012 final full HD from sun/costantini on Vimeo.

If you are in New York City, be sure to check out the new documentary, Bel Borba Aqui, which opens this Wednesday at the Film Forum.  To celebrate the film's release, Bel and the filmmakers have been going around the city for the past 2 1/2 weeks fulfilling a commission to do one new installation somewhere in the city every day. You can see the process and results here.

Finally, later tonight in Time's Square Bel Borba and filmmakers Burt Sun and André Costantini, will premiere a new, site-specific work entitled Universal Pulse as a part of the Times Square Moment: A Digital Gallery— the largest coordinated effort in history by the sign operators in Times Square to display synchronized, cutting-edge creative content at the same time every day. The piece is the first in the program's history to be created specifically for use on the Times Square screens (Screenings are best viewed from Duffy Square at Broadway and 46th Street, or Military Plaza at Broadway and 43rd Street).
