NY I would tell other people about.
@EsquinaNYC on Kenmare is one of those places.
Street level you have the The Corner deli.
A basic NY deli with subs and BEC like a million other bodegas serve. But the real gem is below the street. You walk through the back room, down the stairs and you have La Esquina Brasserie. A Mexican restaurant that serves amazing food.
The thing that I love about NY is that run down facades and often hide the most polished places. This is one of those places. If you have never been, make a reservation and try it. Every New Yorker should eat here once.
