One Not To Miss:  Wooster Collective Speaks at the JCC Manhattan

Last year we were asked by the JCC Manhattan to suggest an artist to create murals in the lobby of their building on the Upper West Side to celebrate their 10th anniversary in the building.

Immediately we thought of Gabriel Specter whose work captures the essence of what community is all about.  During Gabriel's residency at the JCC he met and photographed all different members of the JCC including the nursery school, children in the special needs program, and the staff itself. Last week Gabriel installed his mural with hundreds of members of the JCC community watching, learning and working with Gabriel.

We are thrilled that on Wednesday night we will be giving the opening night lecture on the inspiration we receive from street art.  We will also be speaking with Gabriel about some of his projects and his work with the JCC.

Please join us for the talk and for a glass of wine to celebrate the opening of the mural.

The lecture is free and open to the pubic on January 18th at 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at 334 Amsterdam Ave at 76th Street, New York - 646.505.4444

We look forward to seeing you!
