YOU’RE INVITED: TEENAGE FILM SCREENING IN NYC

Matt Wolf’s film, TEENAGE, is an innovative documentary on the genesis of youth culture from the end of the 19th century through the first half of the 20th. Narrated by Jena Malone and Ben Whishaw and set to a a shimmering contemporary score by Bradford Cox (Deerhunter / Atlas Sound), TEENAGE is a mesmerizing trip into the past and a riveting look at the very idea of “coming-of-age.”

Matt's debut feature film profiled elusive musician Arthur Russell and he recently partnered with the Whitney to create a video series about the artists, builders, guards, curators, and other behind the scenes people of the museum that will lead up its new downtown home in 2015. He also contributed to Julie Ault's piece at the Whitney biennial. Matt began his career making short docs about artists for public art organization, Creative Time.

The film opens today in New York at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema. See below for Q&As after screenings tonight and tomorrow.
